4-day enchanting e-bike tour through Ticino

Our 4-day guided e-bike tour takes us from Bellinzona to the summit of the Vallemaggia, through breathtaking landscapes and hidden treasures. The adventure begins with a day on the Piano di Magadino. We ride from Bellinzona towards the majestic church of San Bernardo and then continue our journey towards Locarno. The second day is dedicated to discovering Locarno and its surroundings and immersing ourselves in the Dolce Vita. The third day is spent in the Maggia Valley, a unique opportunity to experience the magic of the region between waterfalls and wines. To round things off, on the last day we immerse ourselves in the medieval atmosphere of Bellinzona Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.

Day 1 - nature and history

The tour begins with a fascinating arrival in enchanting Bellinzona, the capital of Ticino. After a lunch in the tranquil surroundings, we make our way to the majestic church of San Bernardo, which tells centuries-old stories of history and architecture. It is a real treasure in the landscape. A short coffee break offers the opportunity to admire the works of art in the area, while the descent on foot envelops us in the beauty of nature. Continuing through the impressive Piano di Magadino towards Locarno, the tour becomes an exciting adventure between history, landscapes and the magic of Locarno. Arrival at the hotel offers a moment to relax and round off the day with dinner on Locarno's lakeside promenade. An experience that captures the spirit of Ticino between culture, nature and culinary delights.

11:30-13:00	Tour start in the direction of the majestic Church of St Bernard.
13:00-13:45	Break with packed lunch. Time to enjoy nature and the tranquillity of the place.
13:45-14:15	Visit to the church of San Bernardo, a historical gem in the middle of the countryside.
14:15-14:30	Coffee break. Time to admire the art and architecture.
14:30-15:00	Descend on foot to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
15:00-17:00	The journey continues via the picturesque Piano di Magadino towards Locarno. An unforgettable journey through nature, history and picturesque landscapes.
17:00-19:00	Arrival at the hotel in Locarno. Free time at leisure.
19:00	Dinner on the lakeshore in Locarno

Day 2 - Dolce Vita

Pedal to discover the beauty of Locarno, Ascona, Porto Ronco, Ronco Sopra Ascona and the fascinating Terre di Pedemonte:

9:30-10:30	The tour starts at Locarno railway station.
10:30-10:45	Coffee break on the lakeshore at Ascona. Time to admire the spectacular view and breathe in the fresh lake air as you prepare for the next stage.
12:30-14:00	Lunch at Grotto America. Local delicacies in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere, you are immersed in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
14:00-14:30	On the way back to Locarno, you can admire the view and continue the route.
14:30-16:00	Arrival at the hotel and free time.
16:00-17:30	Guided tour of the historic centre.
ab 17:30	Time at your own disposal and dinner at your own choice and expenses.

Day 3 - Magical moments between waterfalls and wines

18:00-18:30	Taxi boat trip from Porto Patriziale in Ascona to Locarno.
Ab 18:30	Arrival at the hotel and free dinner.

Day 4 - The fortress of Bellinzona

Cycle through centuries of history and the charm of Bellinzona's fortresses:

9:00-9:30	Train journey to Bellinzona.
9:30-11:30	A fascinating e-bike tour to all three castles of Bellinzona, revealing secrets and legendary anecdotes.
11:30-13:00	Lunch at the Grotto San Michele within the impressive walls of Castelgrande. Time to savour local delicacies and admire the spectacular view.
13:00-13:30	Return journey to Bellinzona railway station. ‘Sweet ending’ of the tour with free sweets.
